Admissions Letter
Dear Prospective Parents:
Thank you very much for your interest in The Franciscan School.
After the decision of where to live and work, no decision is more important -- or more intensely personal -- than the decision of where to send one's children to school.
As you ask critically important questions like, "Does the School reflect and reinforce my own deeply held parental and spiritual values and beliefs?" and, "Does the School provide the most invigorating educational and spiritual environment possible for my child?", we are here to answer your questions, discuss your child, and share our philosophy and approach with you.
Our mission is to walk together as life-long learners who strive to live and love as Jesus did in a safe, supportive, faith-filled environment. With 680 children from Kindergarten through Grade 8, our students go on to achieve success in competitive college-preparatory programs in area public, private, and parochial high schools.
The common denominator is our unshakable faith in the gifts in all youngsters and their ability to realize their fullest potential in a child-centered, faith-filled environment where it is safe for them to explore with all of their senses -- and to make mistakes.
We are glad that you are considering The Franciscan School for your child's education. Plan to come to School to visit our campus and classrooms, to meet some of our teachers and staff, and to speak with us. Then, if you like what you see and hear, submit an application so that together we can begin to map an educational future for your child. We look forward to hearing back from you soon. Thanks again for your interest.
Sincerely,
Debbie Braga
