Opening for an Instructional Teaching Assistant at The Franciscan School
The Franciscan School, a Catholic parochial school with K-8th grade, is seeking a full time Instructional Teacher Assistant to work with the 2nd Grade team. The primary role of the assistant will be to assist the 2nd grade team in creating a classroom environment that is consistent with the mission of the school and the parish. The candidate will be able to assist the lead teacher by providing classroom support and small group assistance, supervising students when necessary, updating student files, grading student work, and making copies as needed, handling disciplinary issues when appropriate, attending conferences and collaborating as a member of the team.
The Franciscan School is part of the Education Ministry of the Catholic Community of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Raleigh, North Carolina. The school was established in 2000 and is rooted in the Franciscan tradition. The Franciscan School provides a learning environment that embraces the Gospel values of the Roman Catholic faith.

Bridges After School Program
The Franciscan School, a ministry of the Catholic Community of St. Francis of Assisi, is seeking candidates to work in the Bridges After School program. Candidates must have a strong desire to work with children, be at least 18 years old, and pass a background check. Bridges staff are needed within the program hours of Monday through Friday from 1:30 - 6:00 pm.
